Well it has certainly been a long time since my last post, but now that I have some time I'm going to start blogging again. It seems like I've been playing a lot of bad games lately. First game I played was Clive Barker's Jericho. It actually wasn't that bad. I expected it to be horrible, but it really surprised me in being a decent game. The next game I played was Sonic's Ultimate Game Collection. I enjoyed some of the nostalgia of some of the games, but most of them were horrible. The games really showed their age. I also played Rock Revolution. If you haven't played this game consider yourself one of the lucky ones. This is the worst music game I have ever played. I feel bad for the kid that wanted Rock Band for Christmas and got this steaming pile of crap. He is probably still crying. Then I played Scene It? LCA yesterday. I spent five hours trying to get stupid Scholar achievement for answering 3 documentary questions correctly. It would not have taken so long, but I seemed to never get any documentary questions. After playing that long I don't want to play Scene It? for a long time. Right now I've been playing the Bourne Conspiracy game, which also surprised me in being a solid title. I'm not very far into it, but it is very refreshing compared to the other games I have been playing. I've also started Battlefield: Bad Company, which is just not my cup of tea(That is all I will say because a certain someone likes the game). I've almost finished the full 1000 gamer score of Rainbow Six Vegas 2, which is a really solid shooter. That's pretty much it. I still have other games in my library that I haven't even played yet.
I've been watching the playoffs for the NBA and NHL lately. It looks like the Lakers and Magic are going to be in the in the finals. For the NHL I hope the Penguins win the Stanly Cup. It will be a really good series to watch, because I think the two best teams are in the finals.
That's pretty much everything I wanted say. Please stay tuned for more updates of the blog. Also follow Corey and I on Twitter, to get updates as they happen. See you later.

School Almost Over!!!
School is ending and so is my freshman year in college and as I look back at all the things I was too busy to keep up with this blog comes to mind :P.
The main point of this post is that I am starting to thing about blogging again possibly every single day if everything goes well. School and posting not being in my routine caused problems with me initially keeping up to date with posting. That should change this summer however, as I will have more time to do a lot of things. I am very sad at how the blog has suffered so far due to me not being able to contribute. I promise that will be changing. :)
Anyways just wanted to update on status of the blog. I am going to be looking into ways to improve the whole setup of the blog in the hopes of making it better and better.
Make sure to follow me and Myles on twitter and we promise we will do a better job operating this blog starting very shortly.
As always Arrivederci and see you in the promise land.

Prince of Persia

After I finished my first play through I downloaded the Epilogue to get all my questions answered. That's where I was wrong, but in a good way. Some of my questions were answered, but there were many more I had after its completion. The good news is that they made it so there could be a Prince of Persia 2. The Epilogue was definitely worth the download and is recommended to anyone who has completed the game already.
The game's mechanics were really solid. I really liked the running from place to place on walls, and the game really had a sense of speed. The movements of the prince were very fluid. I thought that the addition of Elika(your female companion) was a great feature for the game. I also liked how sometimes if you were good you could skip certain jumps or run from one place to another not how it was originally intended. The running was probably the most fun in the game. As for the battle system, its easy to pick up, but gets annoying in the later part of the game, because the enemies block all of your attacks.

Overall, I'm glad I bought this game. It was probably the most fun I had with a game that came out last year. I really recommend it to anyone who is a fan of good stories, like exploring vast lands, or just love an adventure. I never liked any of the other Prince of Persia's before this, and I believe this time around they made a great game that anyone can enjoy. This game was just fun.
Now I'm going to finish up the achievements, See you next time.

School Blows!
Ok tidbit from that title, school does blow (its important but it sucks) and that is one reason why i am blogging right now. I should be doing something else... but i am not so here we are.
Glad to see we are now off to the start I wanted, with multiple people posting. With a little more work this blog will soon be up to somewhat operational status.
Anywho the quest for gamerscore is grinding along but when i am in this grind, I realize just how important achievement help sites really are so I wanted to post the 4 or so I use so that others can benefit as well.
http://www.xbox360achievements.org/index.php
This site is a personal favorite of mine, it has a mix of 360 news along with the best source of achievement lists and it also has a great community. My first go-to for sure.
http://www.achieve360points.com/
The used to be best site, its no longer as updated or on the ball as it used to be but there is still great information to be found here. Especially with older games from 06 and 07, sometimes these guides are forums are greater helps then xbox360achievements.
http://www.trueachievements.com/
This one i have known about for a while but just recently joined. I really love on this website the integration of forum and boosting, that makes it a great help to find people to boost certain games with. I like how the site is setup and it is very useful in achievement needs probably a number 2 or 3 stop.
Finally
http://ah.roosterteeth.com/home.php
A very cool site called achievement hunter. This is made by the same people who did the red vs blue video series and whom are now all achievement whores. Great videos, solutions, and community up there as a number 2 or 3 stop for your achievement needs.
That is all for now as always arrivederci and see you in the promise land.

Starting out
Let me start out with an introduction. My name is Myles aka Vendetta on Xbox Live. I'm a long time friend of Corey aka The Rock. I'm currently a student at the University of Massachusetts of Amherst. As of right now I'm studying Computer Science, but that might soon change.
Since this is a gaming blog I'm going to get right to the point and talk about some games. The games I usually enjoy are First Person Shooters, Action Adventure, and my current favorite genre Music games. I'm currently the bassist in my Rock Band 2 band Ghost and The Busters (Corey is the singer and our friend Marine is the main guitarist. We are currently looking for a good drummer if there is anyone out there, preferably with a good selection of DLC. Just putting that out there.) Recently I've been going back and cleaning up my XBLA games. I just finished Castle Crashers(which in my opinion is the arcade game of the year).
I'm just going to thow down a few thoughts about some games I've been playing lately. First I'll start with (the infamous) Street Fighter 4. I had a few problems with since game. This game made me very angry at first that I almost sold it. I felt that they didn't make the game accessible enough for new players and it was almost unplayable with the Xbox 360 controller. To top it all off, one day when I was about to play it, I find out that my save data got corrupted and I had to start over. But after a day or two I cooled off and decided to give the game one last chance. The game is a very solid fighter and really focuses on the timing of moves. I've played a lot of challenge mode to get better with by favorite character Chun Li. I started enjoying the game again almost as much as I enjoyed Street Fighter 2. One more thing, the people who play that game need to get more original, you won't believe how many Ken, Ryu, and Akumas I saw online.
Other games I've been playing are Left 4 Dead, which is a really fun game that doesn't take itself too seriously. This game has campaigns short enough to play just for fun. I just started Prince of Persia, which is a solid game, but I haven't gotten really into it because I've had to focus on my school work. I just got Unreal Tournament 3 at Target for $10, but I haven't even opened it yet. I always come back to Rock Band 2, just to feel like a rock star every now and again.
Well I think it is time to wrap this up, as I have a Physics class I have to go to. I finally felt I should start to blog after Corey's last post. I'll probably start making this a routine. See you later.

Plan For The Blog
Ok! I wanted to post something on here, because it has kind of been a long time. So here was my plan, I have two good friends who both wanted to be part of this blog. We were all going to post, gaming experiences and whatnot but it has come to my attention that one of my friends, does not have the motivation to post if i don't post so here it is.
My plan for this blog is for it to become big and a chronicle of my and a few of my friends experiences but that was put on halt due to a few things. I am sort of around but not really, and who knows how many blog posts I will make. Though in a few months, I should be posting again everyday due to school ending.
This summer, I am planning for the blog to become part of my daily routine and also I hope that routine carries into the next school year. I want this blog to succeed and once me and my friends get going on the right track, I know it will.
So far now, this is the plan for the blog. Post when I can, hopefully my friend will start posting and stuff will get done, now time to go play some Rainbow Six Vegas 2.

Long Time but I'm back!
Hello, I know its been such a long time since my last post however there have been a lot of things going on with me, one of which was me being ill for the past 4 days or so. Anywho just wanted to get the ball rolling again with another post and what I am thinking and doing right now.
I am back at college, which for me is Bryant University and I restart classes as of tomorrow. I am very happy to be back especially with new classes on the horizon however, I do have one problem with my college right now.
That is my xbox 360 won't work on the school network, because over break i had to get a new 360 thanks to the red ring and now I have to register the new console with the campus. This sucks in quite a few ways but for me just wanting to play a little halo tonight it makes me frustrated. I assume I will be back online tomorrow however, I think the school should be more focused on returning students wishes then me getting pushed aside even though I sent an email to those who could help me while they were still working today.
So that is my trouble as of now and I can't wait to get back to gaming especially since i haven't played anything really since friday thanks to my illness. Here is to more posts down the road... As always arrivederci and see you in the promise land.

Halo Hanging With Friends and The Fifth Element
Hey just wanted to make a quick post about a few things today before I got off and went to sleep.
First off I wanted to blog about my experience with halo 3 tonight with some good friends of mine. One being Myles and the other being Marine 5 and together we played some team snipers and had a great time showing me how great halo 3 is still as a multiplayer experience over XBL.
Now I am also pretty good at halo 3 and I wanted to put my experience down on the blog. First off I am a 50 in multiple playlists on halo 3 and also I am a 48 in mlg. I have gone to one Major League Gaming event (Orlando 08) and I am hoping to play at a few events in the 2009 mlg season. I am one of the best in the state of Rhode Island and I just love halo, its the best game around.
Ok, now that I am done bragging a bit I got to hang out with my good friend today Em (short for Emily) and we had a grand old time playing lips (the greatest party game ever) and watching one of my favorite movies of all time the fifth element. If you have not seen the fifth element, its a sci-fi movie that is as corny as it is awesome. Any sci-fi fan and movie fan alike should see the movie eventually as it is such an awesome goofy movie.
Anywho I have to get some rest for tomm so as always arrivederci and see you all in the promise land.

Another quick post
As I did not post yesterday just wanted to put up a quick post of what I was up too. First off my good friend Myles came over yesterday and we went on a gamerscore rampage.
I got over 10 achievements in the game of lips which is my favorite music game released and I will profile it a bit later. I also got 2 really tough achievements in Left 4 Dead which is probably my favorite fps of the season even though the multiplayer isn't all I wanted it too be, I still find myself playing this amazing game over and over again.
Also I am planning on making this a three person blog as of soon as me and my friends try to advance this blog to be a true gaming information and blog sort of like the gamerscoreblog by Microsoft but only better.
So that is what you have to look foward to and remember lips will be profiled soon. Ok now time to go hang with another good friend of mine, as always arrivederci and see you in the promise land.

Rock Quote
As I head off for the night, I wanted to post one of my favorite rock quotes ever, when he is making fun of Booker T in 2001 on Monday Night Raw.
Rock: You walk off the bus into class, the teacher up at the chalkboard and she asks Ok class what is 2+2?... Do You Know Booker?
Rock: (putting on his best booker t voice) 2+2, yeah i know the answer to that Thomas Jefferson Sucka!
Link to the vid: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wVD1XO2mnq8
Its number 1 on the list but number 2 is pretty good too.
Arrivederci and see you in the promise land. If you smell what the rock is cooking.

Mirror's Edge

Today was a big day for me for a few reasons, one I past the 70,000 gamerscore mark which is great for me and is a large step for me towards my overall goal of 100,000 or more gamerscore by July of 09.
Besides that I also completed the storyline to Mirror's Edge today. I wanted to make note of the game Mirror's Edge because I have very mixed feelings about the game. First off the story was overall pretty good, and there were a few surprises in it that made it worth playing the game. However, there were problems with the cutscenes in the form of the dialogue, which at time was horrible. Also the gameplay in the game worked well but there was too much stopping and combat that effected the overall flow of the game. The best part of the game were the chase scenes showing the brilliance of the game but some climbing and jumping sections showed off the weaknesses of the game. Now before I finish I just want to say that Mirrors Edge is a game that should be played by every gamer as it is new and fresh in a world of games that are sequels and redone ideas.
Finally, one last note on Mirror's Edge is that the achievement Test Of Faith, which is beating the game without shooting anyone is a tough achievement that in the right context is a great idea. I am angry with the achievement however, because I went for it on my first playthrough on Normal and it made some sections very frustrating, ruining my overall experience. So my advice to you is if you go for it either do so on your second try or on easy to prevent hating this game.

<-----Test Of Faith Achievement Image Achievements such as Test Of Faith, should be looked at by developers as a good idea but it should be unattainable on the first playthrough so that achievements that make the player, play the game differently, doesn't effect the overall game experience.
Well now to do some time trials as always Arrivederci and see you guys in the promise land.
Quick Post
I am still trying to get everything working on the blog but for now I am just going to take a second to write about Goldberg. Goldberg is a wrestler unlike any other, he is a monster, and has always been a great wrestler to watch. I am bringing Goldberg up because I am watching some of his best matches ever in the WWE when he fought HHH and the Rock. Anywho his character was not used well enough in the WWE storyline, looking back and that is a shame.
Quick update on Goldberg is that he should be making his wrestling re-debut in TNA sometime soon, as he has been training and working towards making his way back into wrestling.
Well now it is time to go shovel snow as on Cape Cod we recieved quite a bit of it yesterday. I will try to fix some of the things on the blog but no promises as always Arrivederci and see you in the promise land.
